Dr. Deepa Chawla

About the founder

Dr. Deepa Chawla is the founder of this incredible platform EmoTutes for social-emotional well-being of children and their parents (and other caregivers also). Deepa holds a PhD in Human Development from University of Delhi.
As her doctoral research interest, she explored prosocial behaviour in young children in families. She has been awarded with through-out her research period. She has also received grants for presenting her work at international forums. Intense academic training in child development and professional experiences have given her strong foundations in understanding children’s developmental needs, families and society. She has earned certifications in SEL and NLP as practitioner.
She has 15 years+ experience of working hands-on with children, families, Government and non-Government organizations in various capacities. She has actively participated in several international and national conferences, seminars, webinars and workshops. She has several publications to her credit. It was from this rich tapestry of experiences that the seeds of EmoTutes were sown– a platform that fosters holistic personal development.
The journey is marked by a deep-rooted passion for empowering children and parents with the skills and insights needed to navigate complexities in parenting with resilience and empathy. EmoTutes will catalyze the world-wide movement of recognizing the significance of social emotional learning for both, children and parents.
